Concerns: Denied boarding
Plea:
Because of deployment of a smaller aircraft than planned, a number of passengers could not join the flight. Nobody was asked to voluntarily give up their seat and it is not clear what criteria the company has used in deciding which passengers were denied access to the aircraft. Passengers were transferred to another flight.
Counter-plea airline:
Airline argues that the deployment of a smaller aircraft due to a technical problem with the scheduled aircraft can be regarded as a "reasonable grounds" to deny boarding.
